5The One-tap Phone Backup

Always wondered how to back up the schedule, media, and documents from your phone to Google Drive? Well, here’s how you can in two easy steps! First, go to your Google Drive desktop app and click on the app’s Settings option. Once in Settings, choose the Backup option then start the process. The process takes long, so it’s better if you do it overnight. Also, the backup will need a good internet connection to work.

4Filter Searches

This feature lets you search for documents according to type, date, and owners. To activate it, click the down arrow to the right of the search box and put in your criteria.

3Turn on Quick Access

When you’ve been using Google Drive for years, it might be a bit hard to find documents (not photos) you’ve recently modified. Quick Access allows you to find them. To activate it, click on the Settings icon (the gear) on Google Drive. Select Quick Access, choose ‘make relevant files handy when needed’ and refresh your browser, and you’re good to go.
